Globoid Leukodystrophy in the Cat

Abstract

SUMMARY Globoid leukodystrophy ( gld ) in 2 female kittens resulted from inbreeding of common ancestors. The characteristic globoid cell reaction found in white matter of the central nervous system was consistent with that reported in gld in man and the dog.
