Harmonic scalpel in pharyngolaryngectomy with radical neck dissection.

Abstract

The use of the Harmonic Scalpel during pharyngolaryngectomy and radical neck dissection led to diminished bleeding, shorter operative time, less seroma formation, and better wound healing in the postoperative period.
