ISOLATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF CHLOROMYCETIN

Abstract

Methods are described for the isolation of a new antibiotic, Chloromycetin, in cryst,alline form from filtrates of submerged aerated cultures of a Xtreptomyces sp.Some of its more characteristic properties are described.
