Environmental and economic considerations encourage the recycling of demolition debris. This research concerns the recycling of demolished concrete as aggregate in new concrete. A major problem in using recycled aggregate concrete is the increase in drying shrinkage. This article addresses this critical issue and provides information on dimensional stability of recycled aggregate concrete; this will help researchers better understand the potentials and limitations of the reycled material.
