Czech borderland transfer of the Czech Germans landscape changes historical geography Czechia This paper is focused on the discussion of the transformations of the rural landscape in the Czech borderland in the second half of the 20 century. The borderland is presented as a certain entity in this paper. The main processes influencing the functioning of the landscape during the mentioned time period are characterized. Landscape changes on the local level are detailed using the model area of the Žlutice micro-region as an example.
