Electrical double layer and electrochemical characteristics at the nanoporous \ncarbon | (C₂H₅)₄NBF₄ +acetonitrile interface have been studied by \nthe cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy methods. The value \nof zero charge potential (0.23 V vs. SCE in H₂O), the region of ideal polarizability \nand other characteristics have been established. Analysis of complex \nplane plots shows that the nanoporous carbon | x M (C₂H₅)₄NBF₄ + \nacetonitrile interface can be simulated by the equivalent circuit, in which \nthe two parallel conduction parts in the solid and liquid phases are interconnected \nby the double layer capacitance in parallel with the complex \nadmittance of hindered reaction of the charge transfer process. The values \nof the characteristic frequency depend on the electrolyte concentration and \non the electrode potential, i.e. on the nature of ions adsorbed at the surface \nof nanoporous carbon electrode.
