35 species of cavernicolous Oniscidea inhabit the caves of Rom
\nania.A remarkable aspect of the oniscidean fauna is the high number
\nof endemic species.The endemic species of Oniscidea from Romania form two groups: Carpathian endemites and Dobrogean endemites.
