Abstract

These twelve essays are A celebration of earthern structures in Great Britain and Ireland' bringing together different approaches to the subject and the study of these structures in the field. As well as increasing the awareness of these sites, the essays reflect the increasing need to conserve and maintain them. Case studies include: Walse, Solway Plain, East Midlands, Scotland, East Anglia, Wessex, Devon and Cornwall, Ireland.
