Piled rafts are an innovative design concept to reduce settlements and differential settlements. In this paper a structural model for the analysis of the soil and structure interaction of piled rafts is presented and results of a parametric study with the structural model are discussed. The design and performance of piled rafts is presented for the foundations of two high rise buildings.
