The purpose of the present paper is to suggest a series of analytic dimensions along which the problem of privacy can be con-sidered. It represents the beginning of an attempt to develop a conceptual framework which will allow for the development of theory and research. In addition, we report the preliminary re-suits of a research project, growing out of this conceptualiza-tion, in which we focus on concepts of privacy as a function of age and age-related experiences.
