Abstract

Smart devices through the Internet of Things (IoT) now connect and automate activities across distinctive domains through seamless interaction. Strengthened dependence on Internet of Things devices has uncovered substantial security weaknesses inside communication protocols. This paper introduces a detailed and structured IoT protocol security model which maintains robust and dependable data sharing between smart devices. A proposed security framework combines encryption protocols and authentication with intrusion detection capabilities to maintain data integrity and protect information confidentiality and ensure system availability. The analysis focuses on the effectiveness of the framework by conducting simulated and practical case studies which demonstrate its capacity to combat standard IoT security threats. The study emphasizes a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy as the essential method for protecting IoT network systems in emerging times of heightened cyber dangers.
