Abstract

Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorder caused by antibodies that attack the neuromuscular junction. These antibodies target and damage postsynaptic components by binding to the postsynaptic muscle end-plate, leading to disrupted signal transmission and resulting in muscle weakness and fatigue.
