Narcolepsy in a Dog and a Cat

Abstract

SUMMARY Narcolepsy was diagnosed in a 6-month-old Dachshund dog and a 1-year-old Siamese cat. The diagnosis was confirmed by electroencephalography in the dog and was indicated by successful treatment with dextroamphetamine in the cat.
