Obesity, Sarcopenia, Sarcopenic Obesity, and Hypertension: Mediating Role of Inflammation and Insulin Resistance

Abstract

Obesity, sarcopenia, and sarcopenic obesity significantly increased the risk of hypertension. Inflammation and insulin resistance appeared to mediate the association between sarcopenic obesity and hypertension.
