Abstract

SUMMARY A moderate level of serum antibodies elicited in calves by a killed bovine respiratory syncytial viral vaccine did not cause exacerbation of a mild respiratory tract disease after challenge infection of these calves. Control calves inoculated with the virus had clinical signs of disease and the noninoculated control calves remained normal.
