The high-entropy alloy facilitates the spatial-temporal separation of H 2 and O 2 , enabling the zinc-based battery to produce H 2 at industrial-level current density (500 mA cm −2 ) and deliver energy with a record-breaking power density (537 mW cm −2 ).
