Comprehensive Assessment of Cybersecurity Measures: Evaluating Incident Response, AI Integration, and Emerging Threats

Abstract

Many organizations still face significant challenges in effectively responding to incidents, integrating AI into their security frameworks, and managing the dynamic nature of emerging threats. These challenges highlight a critical need for a holistic evaluation of current practices to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. This article explores the vital and currently relevant subject matter of using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within the discipline of cybersecurity. The primary aspects of records protection, where AI modules are actively integrated, are analyzed. Defensive AI recommendations based primarily on current software solutions are presented with the goal of enhancing cybersecurity effectiveness and ensuring the technological independence. Based on a survey of 88 employees from information security departments, this study highlights the practical benefits and feasibility of implementing AI-based security systems in various sectors. AI is increasingly being used to enhance cybersecurity, with many organizations reporting improvements in threat detection and incident response.
