Moderate solvation structures of lithium ions for high-voltage lithium metal batteries at −40 °C

Abstract

This work proposed an electrolyte with a moderate solvation structure, addressing the low ionic conductivity, slow de-solvation and unstable cathode–electrolyte interphase of high-voltage lithium metal batteries at low temperature.
