Abstract

We present the first 125µm outer diameter hollow-core fibre with a 10.6µm mode-field diameter allowing direct low-loss splicing to G652 SMF. We demonstrate O-to-C-band transmission and bend-insensitive single-mode operation, attractive for low-latency sub-1km communications.
