Abstract

To addresses ambiguity, the Ambiguous Set Theory (AST) was presented. The AST received a considerable amount of attention to practitioners to model real world problems. In order to provide a description of any attribute, the AST has the ability to employ four different degrees of membership: true, false, ambiguous-true, and ambiguous-false categories. The use of this form of representation makes it possible to depict characteristics in a large deal of detail and aids to the process of modeling uncertainty in an effective way. This article began with a discussion of the activities that are related with AST especially reviewed the studies related to AST. Using the weighted geometric operator in conjunction with the Einstein norm and co-norm operator, we were able to construct the Ambiguous Fuzzy Einstein Geometric Operator, which is also referred to as the AFEGO. That which was done was carried out inside the boundaries of the AST domain. The AFEGO that was described has been shown to be applicable to select the suitable Power generation method (PGM). A comparative study has been conducted to shown the validity of the presented approach.
