Abstract

In the studied population, children with normal hearing at birth, normal platelet count at birth, and a normal cranial ultrasound had no risk of neurologic sequelae and a low risk of delayed unilateral sensorineural hearing loss. The use of this model based on readily available neonatal markers should help clinicians establish a personalized care pathway for each cCMV neonate.
