Structure tailoring and defect engineering of a highly thermally stable red emitting phosphor

Abstract

Gd 3− y Ca y −0.02 GaO 6 :0.02Eu 2+ ( y = 0.2) can produce 650 nm red light with a half-peak width of 68 nm, and its emission intensity can still maintain more than 95% of that at room temperature.
