We obtained exceptional power factors and zT values in p-type Mg 3 Sb 2 -based materials by alloying Zn at the Mg 2 sites for double band degeneracy and alloying Yb at the Mg 1 sites of Mg 3 Sb 2 for decreased band effective mass.
