Abstract

• This deep convolutional neural network yields robust and generalizable liver segmentation performance on internal, external, and public testing data. • Automated liver volumetry demonstrated excellent agreement with manual volumetry. • Automated liver segmentations can be used for robust and reproducible radiomic feature extraction.
