21:T4fa,H₂ O₂ photosynthesis coupled with biomass valorization can not only maximize the energy utilization but also realize the production of value-added products. Here, a series of COFs (i.e. Cu₃ -BT-COF, Cu₃ -pT-COF and TFP-BT-COF) with regulated redox molecular junctions have been prepared to study H₂ O₂ photosynthesis coupled with furfuryl alcohol (FFA) photo-oxidation to furoic acid (FA). The FA generation efficiency of Cu₃ -BT-COF was found to be 575 mM g^-1 (conversion ≈100 % and selectivity >99 %) and the H₂ O₂ production rate can reach up to 187 000 μM g^-1 , which is much higher than Cu₃ -pT-COF, TFP-BT-COF and its monomers. As shown by theoretical calculations, the covalent coupling of the Cu cluster and the thiazole group can promote charge transfer, substrate activation and FFA dehydrogenation, thus boosting both the kinetics of H₂ O₂ production and FFA photo-oxidation to increase the efficiency. This is the first report about COFs for H₂ O₂ photosynthesis coupled with biomass valorization, which might facilitate the exploration of porous-crystalline catalysts in this field.22:T428,Luminescent metal-organic frameworks (LMOFs) demonstrate strong potential for a broad range of applications due to their tunable compositions and structures. However, the methodical control of the LMOF emission properties remains a great challenge. Herein, we show that linker engineering is a powerful method for systematically tuning the emission behavior of UiO-68 type metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) to achieve full-color emission, using 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole and its derivative-based dicarboxylic acids as luminescent linkers. To address the fluorescence self-quenching issue caused by densely packed linkers in some of the resultant UiO-68 type MOF structures, we apply a mixed-linker strategy by introducing nonfluorescent linkers to diminish the self-quenching effect. Steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) experiments reveal that aggregation-caused quenching can indeed be effectively reduced as a result of decreasing the concentration of emissive linkers, thereby leading to significantly enhanced quantum yield and increased lifetime.23:T503,The preparation of multifunctionalized luminophores with full-color emission based on an identical core skeleton is a significative but challenging research topic. In this work, eight donor-donor-acceptor (D-D-A)-type luminogens based on a central carbazole core bearing a C₆ hydrocarbon chain were designed by using different kinds of donor and acceptor units on the left and right, and synthesized in good yields. These D-D-A carbazole derivatives display deep-blue, sky-blue, cyan, green, yellow-green, yellow, orange and red fluorescence in the solid state, achieving full-color emission covering the whole visible light range under UV light illumination. Notably, the dicyano-functionalized triphenylamine-containing carbazole derivative exhibits rare aggregation-induced near-infrared emission and red-to-near-infrared mechano-fluorochromism with high contrast beyond 100 nm. Furthermore, the red-emissive luminogen can serve as a potential candidate for cell imaging and photodynamic therapy (PDT).
