Mechanistic insights and comparative analysis of Ru(<scp>ii</scp>)–NNC pincer complexes with anionic-, protic-, and classical-NHCs for transfer hydrogenation of ketones

Abstract

A series of Ru( ii )–NNC pincer-type complexes bearing anionic-, protic- and classical-NHC ligands are reported. Comparative analysis of catalytic activity in transfer hydrogenation of ketones is investigated both experimentally and computationally.
