An effective strategy via in situ growth of MOFs in biomass carbon together with co-pyrolysis is proposed to prepare a monolithic air electrode with highly dispersed Mn and Co nanoparticles anchored on wood-derived carbon (CoMn-N@NCW) for ZABs.
