Abstract

Two isocyamelurates of A 0.5 H 2 C 6 N 7 O 3 ·4H 2 O (A= Ca 2+ , Sr 2+ ) were successfully synthesized. Both of them showed excellent properties of wide band gap, large birefringence, and strong second order harmonic generation response.
