Thieno[3,4- <i>d</i> ]pyrimidin-4(3 <i>H</i> )-thione: an effective, oxygenation independent, heavy-atom-free photosensitizer for cancer cells

Abstract

It is demonstrated that thieno[3,4- d ]pyrimidin-4(3 H )-thione is an effective, oxygenation independent, heavy-atom-free photosensitizer against mono-layer of melanoma and cervical cancer cells.
