The theory of ambiguous fuzzy set is introduced to represent the uncertainties in four different ways to overcome the limitations of soft computing-based theories in dealing uncertainties, such as fuzzy set (FS), intuitionistic FS (IFS), neutrosophic set and rough set. The application of various aggregation operators in solving the MCDM problem in relation to ambiguous intuitionistic fuzzy (AIF) sets (AIFSs) has not yet been investigated. In this manuscript, the efforts are made to propose the aggregation operator by considering the Choquet integral model to involve the interaction phenomenon in the AIF environment. Firstly, we provide the AIFCI operator for aggregating input data in AIFNs environment by considering interconnected relation of criteria by using the Choquet integral model. Then, an approach for RES-selection problem is included in this study on the basis of proposed AIFCI operator.
