Provision of Oral Care in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit: Survey of Nursing Staff Training, Confidence, Methods, Attitudes, and Perceived Barriers

Abstract

Despite limited formal training, surveyed nurses reported confidence in providing oral care. Methods, frequency, and prioritization were variable.
