High-On-Off-Ratio Beam-Splitter Interaction for Gates on Bosonically Encoded Qubits

Abstract

A SNAIL-based coupler is used to devise a programmable beam splitter interaction between two bosonic modes with over an octave separation in frequency; the method is further applied as a primitive for constructing two-qubit bosonic gates.
