State-of-the-Art of Precast/Prestressed Sandwich Wall Panels

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present to the architect, engineer, contractor, precast/prestressed concrete producer and owner current [as of 1997] North American practices concerning uses, design, detailing, manufacturing and thermal performance of sandwich panels. An additional purpose is to share experience gained over the past decades, and by doing so, permit specifiers, suppliers and users to benefit.
