Does PM1 exposure during pregnancy impact the gut microbiota of mothers and neonates?

Abstract

Our study provides the first evidence that exposure to PM₁ has a significant impact on the gut microbiota of mothers and neonates, especially on the diversity, composition, and function of neonatal meconium microbiota, which may have important significance for maternal health management in the future.
