Abstract

Patients with tricuspid regurgitation are often referred late in their disease course and present with volume overload, which is a detrimental factor leading to right-sided chamber dilatation and dysfunction. Treatment of volume overload can 1) improve patient functional status; 2) avoid repeated invasive examinations; and 3) establish eligibility for transcatheter tricuspid intervention. (<b>Level of Difficulty: Intermediate.</b>).
