Enantioselective synthesis of chiral sulfones by hydrogen-bonding/organophotoredox co-catalyzed asymmetric sulfonylation

Abstract

We report an enantioselective sulfonylation of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with 4-alkyl substituted Hantzsch esters and DABCO·(SO 2 ) 2 by interfacing photoredox and hydrogen bonding catalysis.
