Single-Atoms Electromagnetic Wave Absorber In article number 2212604, Hongjing Wu, Limin Zhang, and co-workers report Ni-single-atoms/nitrogen-doped carbon absorbers. The continuous evolution of the microscopic electromagnetic loss is revealed for the first time (conduction loss → Ni 3d orbital unpaired electrons induced polarization loss → conduction loss), which provides insight into the deep design of absorbers from atom-scale view.
