A 3-dimethylmaleic anhydride (DMMA) additive is proposed to reconcile CEIs, and H 2 O/HF in electrolytes is well scavenged. Moreover, a synergetic electrolyte strategy is applied to push the cutoff voltage of LiCoO 2 batteries up to 4.7 V.
