ADAPTIVE CONTROL ALGORITHMS FOR WASTE WATER TREATMENT AND pH NEUTRALIZATION

Abstract

SUMMARY This paper presents adaptive control algorithms which have been designed for use on two applications, namely dissolved oxygen control in activated sludge waste water treatment and control of pH in acidic waste water. Global convergence of the algorithms is established. Simulation studies show that the adaptive control laws can give superior controller performance compared with other conventional control algorithms.
