Two new alkali metal fluorooxoborates, Rb 3 B 5 O 8 F 2 and K 0.6 Rb 2.4 B 5 O 8 F 2 , were successfully obtained by cation regulation, which exhibit a short UV cutoff edge and an appropriate SHG response.
