Detection of Antibiotic Resistance Genes in Pseudomonas aeruginosa by Whole Genome Sequencing

Abstract

The acquisition of antibiotic resistance genes was found to depend on the resistance of <i>Pseudomonas</i> to antibiotics. The strain with the highest resistance to antibiotics had the highest acquisition of antibiotic resistance genes. MDR-<i>P. aeruginosa</i> produces antibiotic resistance genes against aminoglycoside, β-lactam, fluoroquinolones, sulfonamides, phenicol, and fosfomycin antibiotics.
