Abstract

Altogether, this study provides the first in vivo demonstration that specific deletion of <i>Pkd1</i> in endothelial cells promotes endothelial dysfunction and hypertension, impairs arteriovenous fistula development, and potentiates the cardiovascular alterations associated with chronic kidney disease.
