Intercellular mitochondrial transfer as a means of revitalizing injured glomerular endothelial cells

Abstract

MSCs can rejuvenate damaged GECs <i>via</i> mitochondrial transfer. Additionally, the improvement of renal function and pathological changes in DKD by MSCs may be related to the mechanism of mitochondrial transfer.
