Larger BP fluctuations during hospitalization were associated with an increased risk of adverse outcomes at 3 months after ischemic stroke onset, independent of mean BP. These findings suggested that BP fluctuation should be a risk factor of adverse outcomes after ischemic stroke, which provided a new insight for BP management strategy.
