Karyotypes of nine species of vespertilionid bats from Thailand are described. Pipistrellus mimus (2n = 34, FN = 46), Tylonycteris robustula (2n = 32, FN = 50), Murina leucogaster (2n = 44, FN = 50), and Miniopterus schreibersi (2n = 46, FN = 52) have karyotypes essentially identical to ones previously reported from other regions. Pipistrellus pulveratus (2n = 32, FN = 50) is reported for the first time and differs by six Robertsonian fission/fusion events from the primitive MyotisA.ik.Q karyotype.
