An Intrusion Detection and Prevention System against DOS Attacks for Internet-Integrated WSN

Abstract

Internet integrated WSN is presently having a large impact in our daily life. Security and privacy is also equally important in this respect. Detection and prevention of intrusion is nowadays become a challenging issue in such environment. Among different types of threat one which is a prominent and very hard to defend is DoS attacks (Denial of Service) discussed more because of its varieties. Nowadays to protect communication in internet connected WSN from DOS attack most of the cases researcher recommends encryption-based techniques which is proved not to be efficient. This article represent all the Intrusion Detection technique and prevention system against flooding and jamming attacks existing in the present day against DOS attack for internet integrated WSN and represent a new direction towards detecting and preventing of this severe attack
