Abstract

Three-month TONGEE DJBS implantation resulted in significant weight loss and improvement in hepatic steatosis, liver enzymes, insulin resistance, and metabolic parameters in obese patients with NAFLD. Randomized controlled trials are required to further elucidate these initial findings.
