Quantitative analysis of <i>in vitro</i> biofilm formation by clinical isolates of dermatophyte and antibiofilm activity of common antifungal drugs

Abstract

The results demonstrated that most of the clinical dermatophyte isolates are capable to form biofilm in vitro with variable strength. Moreover, terbinafine can be suggested as the first-line choice for the treatment of biofilm-formed dermatophytosis.
