Genome sequencing reveals underdiagnosis of primary ciliary dyskinesia in bronchiectasis

Abstract

PCD is underdiagnosed as a cause of bronchiectasis. Increased uptake of genetic testing may help to identify bronchiectasis due to motile ciliopathies and ensure appropriate management.
