Abstract

The development of highly active and stable cathodes for carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CO2RR) is important for commercialization of energy conversion devices. Metallic nanoparticles in situ exsolved from parent oxide can not only greatly improve the stability of the cathode, but also efficiently boost CO2RR via a solid oxide electrolysis cell.
